1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Brance Digital LLC (“Brance Digital,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, accesses, uses, stores, shares, and protects information in connection with the Ops System application and related services.

Ops System is an application and dashboard experience designed to operate within Google Sheets and related Google services. It may use Google APIs and Google Apps Script permissions to provide spreadsheet automation, dashboards, in-sheet interfaces, import workflows, reporting, and related business functionality.

Brance Digital LLC operates, or may in the future operate, certain brands, trade names, DBAs, service lines, projects, offers, funnels, domains, subdomains, and online properties under or associated with Brance Digital LLC (collectively, the “Covered Brands”). As of the Effective Date, the Covered Brands include iDealOps and Ops System.

This policy is intended to describe our practices for Google user data and to support compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Google User Data and Permissions We Access

Ops System requests Google OAuth permissions only for functionality required to operate the application. Depending on the features used, the application may request the following permissions.

A. Google Sign-In Basic Profile

Scopes or claims: openid, email, profile

What we access: Your name and email address through standard Google Sign-In claims.

Why we use it: To authenticate you, associate your Google Account with your Ops System access, manage your account, support licensing or subscription records, and personalize the application experience.

B. Google Sheets - Current Spreadsheet Only

Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly

What it allows: Read and write access only to the current spreadsheet where the add-on, script, or application is running.

Why we use it: To read inputs, perform calculations, update dashboard values, manage buttons, menus, automations, and write results back into the active Ops System Google Sheet.

C. Google Drive - App-Created or Explicitly Opened Files

Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

What it allows: Create and access only the Google Drive files or folders that you create with Ops System or that you explicitly open with the application.

Why we use it: To generate, save, or access exports, reports, templates, documents, or other application-related files when you trigger those features.

D. Google Apps Script Runtime Permissions

Scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.scriptapp
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.external_request
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.projects
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.deployments

What they allow: These permissions allow Ops System to create, manage, configure, and execute scripts, render custom dialogs, sidebars, and menus inside Google Sheets, make approved outbound HTTPS requests, and support Apps Script project and deployment lifecycle functionality.

Why we use them: These technical permissions are required for core Ops System functionality, including scheduled automations, event-driven workflows, custom in-sheet user interfaces, integrations, updates, and deployment management.

E. Google Sheets - Read-Only Access

Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.readonly

What it allows: View spreadsheet data, including cell values, formulas, and sheet properties, without permission to make edits through this specific scope.

Why we use it: To support background monitoring, validation, troubleshooting, formula checks, REF error detection, and other read-only workflows where the application needs to inspect spreadsheet data without making changes through that permission.

F. Google Sheets - Full Spreadsheet Access

Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets

What it allows: See, edit, create, and delete Google Sheets spreadsheets.

Why we use it: Ops System may require full spreadsheet access for advanced automation workflows, including managing connected dashboard files, refreshing import formulas, coordinating central control sheets, enabling inter-sheet data flows, and automating IMPORTRANGE access or similar spreadsheet operations at scale.

4. How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data only to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve user-facing features of Ops System.

  • generate reports, exports, documents, or templates requested by the user;
  • manage application configuration, project metadata, and deployment functionality;
  • send approved external requests necessary for integrations, webhooks, APIs, or application features;
  • detect errors, abuse, unauthorized access, or security issues;
  • provide support, troubleshooting, updates, and reliability improvements.

You may revoke Ops System’s access to your Google Account at any time through your Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access may disable some or all application functionality.
